Barah Broq & Mosses
Peak Trek

Overview – Barah Broq Trek

Overview

Barah Broq offers a quick yet meaningful way to witness the awe-inspiring K2. But it's more than just a view; it showcases the essence of the Karakoram region, with its breathtaking landscapes. What makes this trek special is the chance to connect with local communities that don't often encounter outsiders. Starting from Barah Valley, a three-hour drive from Skardu city, this trek also includes reaching the summit of Mosses Peak (5300m), a trekking peak. The unique thing about this peak is that it gives you an incredible view of K2, the second-highest peak in the world, along with many other towering peaks in the area, like Nanga Parbat, Broad Peak, G1, G2, and several others. It's a journey that goes beyond just seeing mountains; it's an adventure that brings you closer to the natural beauty and local cultures of Karakoram.
