At Travel Girls, we proudly stand as a trailblazing travel company committed to empowering all adventurers.
Travel Girls, a female led adventure tourism company operating since 2019, focuses on promoting adventure tourism in Pakistan. Specializing in trekking and adventure sports, we aim to empower people and especially young women to pursue their dreams in mountainous regions. Founded by Rabia and Sadia Maqbool, who experienced barriers to accessing such opportunities due to gender norms, Travel Girls provides a safe platform for women to explore and plan trips. Since its establishment in 2019. While our roots are firmly grounded in a female centric approach, our transformative trekking and adventure tours are inclusive and open to both men and women. Since 2019, we’ve orchestrated an impressive 120 successful trekking expeditions and tours, conquering peaks surpassing 5000 meters and navigating numerous passes over 4000m. The Journey
In the beginning, it was just us two sisters and a group of friends doing small treks. We didn’t have a big team or fancy gear just a belief that adventure brings people together, and that courage grows when shared.
With every trek, we learned something new about the mountains, about our travelers, and about ourselves. We saw friendships form over cups of chai in wooden huts. We watched first-time trekkers reach summits they never thought possible. And we saw how stepping into nature could quietly change a person sometimes forever.

For us, TG Trek & Tours is more than a travel company.
It’s a bridge connecting people to the wild beauty of Northern Pakistan, to its humble mountain communities, and to parts of themselves they might have forgotten.

Sadia Maqbool
Co-Founder & Lead Explorer
“Every trail tells a story. For me, it’s about helping others find their courage somewhere between the climb and the clouds.”
Sadia’s journey from computer science to the high mountains of Pakistan is a story of courage, curiosity, and chasing what truly matters. After completing her Master’s in Computer Science, she realized that her heart belonged not to offices or screens, but to winding trails, roaring rivers, and towering peaks. In 2019, she decided to follow that calling and co-founded TG Trek & Tours with her sister, Rabia. What began as a small idea has now grown into one of the most trusted adventure companies exploring the remote and breathtaking regions of Northern Pakistan. Sadia is the planner, the dreamer, and the face you’ll often see leading groups through valleys and over high passes. She loves discovering new routes, mapping lesser-known trails, and creating experiences that allow people to connect deeply with nature. Having successfully completed challenging adventures including a 6000er peak, K2 Basecamp, Gondogoro La (5590m), and numerous other treks above 5000 meters she leads not just with experience, but with passion and empathy.

Before the mountains called, Rabia was a Physics lecturer someone who loved explaining the mysteries of the universe to her students. But life, as it often does, had another plan. After marriage and becoming a mother, she found herself drawn back to her lifelong love for the outdoors. Balancing her role as a mother to a 9-year-old daughter and a full-time entrepreneur, Rabia’s journey is one of quiet strength and perseverance. She co-founded TG Trek & Tours alongside Sadia with a shared dream to bring authentic adventure experiences to others, especially women who dream of the mountains but often hold back. Rabia is the heart that keeps the company running smoothly behind the scenes managing logistics, planning operations, and ensuring that every trek feels seamless and safe. Yet, she’s not one to stay behind the desk she’s also a certified trek leader who has guided numerous groups across Pakistan’s most iconic trails. Her achievements include summiting a 6000er peak, leading treks to K2 Basecamp, and exploring many remote trails that few have set foot on. Her calm presence and attention to detail make every traveler feel supported and at ease no matter how tough the climb gets.
